We apologize to anyone who traveled to see our amazing Maze and found the blooms were over! We put it out on all social media that they were sad and hanging there heads, getting ready for the harvest of the seeds. We were overwhelmed with the response and didn’t realize our web site was not up to date. We are a family farm, and we all work 14 hours a day trying to keep all the veggies healthy and picked for our customers, so this slipped by us.
We plan for a longer season next year, with multiple plantings, as the blooms only last about 2 weeks, all depending on the weather.
Watch for more info for next years blooming dates, hopefully earlier in July!
I thought there’s more sunflowers in October
Beginning tomorrow, we will have a small patch of various varieties in bloom. It’s MUCH smaller than our previous mazes. This patch is not a maze. We have another patch that is a maze that is beginning to bloom, but again, it’s not nearly as glorious as the previous patches. Both patches will last as long as we do not get a frost.
Are you have sunflowers right now?
